Serious Innovation, and in Community: Thoughts from PATIO Connect

At the PATIO Connect event held on Wednesday, April 9, we came together to talk about innovation in a real and profound way, leaving behind the buzzwords to focus on genuine dialogue. Corporations, startups and entrepreneurs shared their experiences, demonstrating that innovation is not an isolated concept, but something that is built in collaboration.

Open Innovation: A Path to Collaboration

Lucía Chávarri, co-founder of Nubalis, moderated two key roundtables. In the first, representatives of companies such as L'Oréal, BBVA, Moeve and MAPFRE agreed that each organization needs to define its own vision of innovation before embarking on a collaborative process. They stressed that innovation must align with the strategic objectives of each company, allowing this approach to be integrated in an effective and sustainable way.

In the second panel, the world of Venture Builders was explored, with experts from Mesta, Byld, Telefónica and COCOCO Ventures. Here we discussed how these models are transforming the entrepreneurial ecosystem, accelerating the creation of viable startups through well-defined but flexible structures.

The great learning of the day was clear: innovation does not have a universal formula. Every company must build its own definition and approach, adapted to its culture and needs. True innovation emerges when organizations collaborate, share ideas and support each other.

PATIO Campus: Creating spaces for collaboration

At PATIO Campus, we remain committed to creating spaces where ideas intersect and opportunities are born. We are convinced that authentic innovation comes from collaboration, and we will continue to promote meetings that allow us to continue learning and growing together.
