Yesterday, Wednesday, May 7th, at PATIO Campus, we are experiencing a new edition of PATIO Connect with a focus on the future of employment and young talent. An event where we explore how to prepare new generations for a constantly changing labor market, full of challenges and opportunities.

The Key: Collaboration Between Universities, Companies and Talent Platforms

With Rosa Visiedo, Rector of the CEU San Pablo University, and Blanca Muñoz, Talent Director of L'Oréal, we talked about how collaboration between universities, companies and talent platforms is essential to adapt young people to an increasingly demanding professional environment. They talked about the importance of training students not only with technical knowledge, but also with a mindset of continuous learning, and how internships are the best way to connect knowledge with professional reality!

Soft Skills: The New Must in Talent Management

The day was also marked by a round table moderated by Andrea Martínez, with Carmen Martos, Edgar Salcedo and Ramón Rodriganez. Something was discussed that became clear: the future of talent management goes beyond technical knowledge. Las Soft Skills, such as empathy, resilience and adaptability, are more important than ever to integrate professionals into any work environment. The message was clear: selection processes must evolve to focus on these skills.

A Future of Reskilling and Technology: Adapt or Fall Behind

And, of course, there was no shortage of discussion about artificial intelligence and Reskilling constant. If anything became clear, it is that, in order to face the challenges of the future, we must unlearn what we have learned and always be ready to learn again. The key to staying relevant in this new market is to adapt education and skills to rapid technological advances.
